When your doctor writes your child's prescription for TEV-TROPIN® A therapy that treats children who have growth failure due to GHD. It works by replacing growth hormone in the body. The growth hormone in TEV-TROPIN® is made in a lab, but it works just like the growth hormone a body would make , ask him or her to also write a prescription for the Tjet® device A Needle-Free device for injecting TEV-TROPIN®. The Tjet® device is available by prescription to all patients who are taking TEV-TROPIN® . The doctor has to send both to Growth Solutions® A special program designed for children taking TEV-TROPIN® and their caregivers. This program offers 1) home injection training and education; 2) insurance and reimbursement support for caregivers; 3) educational and support materials; and 4) a toll-free hotline for nurse support at 1-866-TEV-TROP (1-866-838-8767) . This way your child can benefit from Needle-Free injections of TEV-TROPIN® with the Tjet® device.
Once you receive the Tjet® device Demonstration Kit, Growth Solutions® will send a nurse trainer to your home. This trainer will show your family how to use the device. Please do not use the device until you have been trained.
Once you receive the Demo Kit and training, additional supplies, including vial adapters and Needle-Free Heads, will be sent to you every three months.
